Only God knows our thoughts

Only God knows our thoughts. Even when we think we understand or know someone and their intent ( and sometimes if we feel bad or insecure we want to blame them and say they have malicious or jealous intent), we don't! Even my husband! Sister! Only God knows their thoughts. So what should I do? Give them the benefit of the doubt. And also give the situation to God. 

16 Yea, I tell thee, that thou mayest know that there is none else save God that knowest thy thoughts and the intents of thy heart. (D&C 6:16)
