Prayer is worship

Prayer is a form of worship. And Heavenly Father doesn't want me to just be a Sunday disciple. He wants me to worship Him every day. He wants me to commune with Him every day. In Alma 33, Zenos thanks God for hearing him in any situation and location, "because of [his] afflictions and [his] sincerity," or his humility and sincerity. On Zenos's side. But it was "because of thy Son that thou hast been this merciful into me." On Heavenly Father's side.

He listens to my prayers whenever I am sincere. And he responds to them and reacts to them and blesses me with what I ask for and need because of Jesus. 

I need to involve Heavenly Father in my life more. And ask Him for help and guidance.
