I'm so grateful that Christ isn't proud. Where would we all be if He didn't want to help us rise to His character and stature and glory.
Pride keeps me from being able to love purely and serve sincerely. It keeps me from getting guidance on how I am help certain people (if I am competing with them or if I am holding a grudge against them). Pride keeps me from growing closer to God. It keeps me from applying the Atonement everywhere I can, because I rely on myself in that situation rather than on God.
